We’ve taken time to reflect and have decided that HMK will remain closed until 4 June, due to the recent developments concerning the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cultural institutions across the nation and the globe are taking measures to prevent further spread of the virus and of course we are following suit in order to best care for the health of our community, especially those more vulnerable than our team of young, healthy artists and employees.

Our event Working On/Working Through/Working With by artist Katherine MacBride will therefore take on a different shape. Thanks to Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee we will be able to share a listening session and talk by Katherine MacBride with you online. Further information on this will follow very soon.

Even though we are a small institution, we are in the fortunate situation at HMK that Covid-19 will not affect our employment situation or our program extensively, at least for now. But the people most affected by this are those already at risk, those living with health challenges and under precarious working conditions. We are taking time to understand how best to support each other, emotionally, financially and otherwise, because we really are in this together. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you again. For any questions, please contact us via office@hotelmariakapel.nl.Stay calm and take care
